Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
Kewdale Tyrepower (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and in our workshop, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. What we collect
- Details you give us when you book a service, request a quote, send a fleet enquiry or download a guide: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details (make, model, year, registration), business details for fleet enquiries, your preferred booking time and any notes you add.
- Service records: the work we quote and carry out on your vehicle, and payment records.
- Website information: the pages you view, the buttons you click, the advertisement or link that brought you here, your device and browser type, your approximate location and your IP address. We collect this using cookies and similar technologies.
We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health information) and ask that you do not send it to us.
2. How we use it
- To confirm, manage and carry out your booking, quote or enquiry, and to contact you about it.
- To send you the guide you asked for and related follow-up information.
- To send you offers or reminders about our services, where you have agreed or where the law allows. You can opt out at any time.
- To understand how the website and our advertising are performing, and to improve them.
- To meet our legal, tax and warranty obligations.
3. Advertising and analytics
We use Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising tools to measure visits and the results of our advertising. These tools use cookies and similar identifiers. When you submit a form, we may share limited details with Meta in a hashed (scrambled) form so Meta can match the enquiry to an advertisement; we do not send them your details in readable form.
You can limit this through your browser’s cookie settings, your Facebook and Google ad preferences, or by using Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- service providers who help us run the business, such as website hosting, booking, email delivery, analytics and advertising providers;
- the Tyrepower group and tyre manufacturers, where needed for warranty, product recall or account purposes;
- payment providers, including buy-now-pay-later providers you choose to use;
- government bodies or others where the law requires or permits it.
Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.
5. Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.
6. Access, correction and opting out
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop sending you marketing messages. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
7. Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
